It really is difficult to believe that the trolley service won’t do a better job of managing this department. No signage when certain trolley stops are closed, QR code doesn’t work to bring up the app and the app in inoperable. What a joke!

Says bus is coming that has already past, says another is coming in 5 min as it gets to the stop, just useless

Clearly designed by a group of people who have never had to take the bus once in their life.

I’m a Uni student living on campus, and this app is honestly so unbelievably horrible. Back at the start of fall semester this school year, app would show me the routes the school shuttles take, but wouldn’t actually show me where the shuttle was at the time. About halfway through the fall semester, the app literally just stopped working and every time I try to open it, it gets stuck on this endless loading loop that never ends. So frustrating because I never know when the shuttles going to show up. Don’t love having to figure out if I need to start walking to my class or if the shuttles going to show up.

Doesn’t show real time tracking. Not recommended.

I downloaded app and it goes to login screen but I don’t know my password.

If you're a new student to the Fairfax area, this app will hurt you more than help you. Its interface is not communicative at all, and I had an impossible time trying to find my first ever bus ride. I knew that wanted to get to a Walmart in the area, which my friend said was possible with these busses. But my only options for navigating the menus was clicking on the routes, rather than the bus stations themselves or the location I want to go to. This only helps if you somehow already know all the routes and where they go. Just ask another student where the bus stations are. It will save you the headache.

I rarely ever wrote reviews but holy cow this app is terrible. No real info on shuttle times and by the time it updates locations simetimes the shuttle is long gone

Hard to be useful when the airport you use isn’t listed.

It’s very frustrating that I can’t see the times for each stop all day, and only can see the next two. It would be much easier to plan ahead for things if I knew what times to be at the bus stops.

Will gladly upgrade review if someone can address some concerns. First, the app requires me to have my location on. Why? Im at the bus stop, that’s where I am. Once location is on, the app shows me where I am but not where the bus is. That’s what I need this to do, show me where the shuttle to the airport is. Is there an icon I’m not familiar with that shows me where the shuttle is? I see the stops, which I don’t care and the rout, which I also don’t care….it’s a shuttle, there is point A and point B. What is the rout for if I cannot see the bus in relationship to it? I can get a rout map and stop locator anywhere and I wouldn’t have to give away private info to get it. The app seems more like a data gathering for unknown purpose more than a useful tool.

I love this app but one problem I have is it won’t show all of the buses that are running it only keeps showing a certain amount of buses but it won’t show all of the buses

Waited for over an hour for a shuttle that never came. I ended up ordering a Lyft. There were 4 buses on route and the app said 8 mins away for 30 mins. I was hearing the bus drivers had to take a break but they should stagger or have a set schedule so people can anticipate that and make their flights on time. This app didn’t work for me.

As soon as it was installed on my iPhone, when I opened it is asking for password or to change location. Those are the only choices and doesn’t do anything else. If it needs registration I couldn’t find a website to do it. Worthless.

This app is bad. None of the links work.

It’s missing important information of shuttles such as drop off and pick up locations. Also the shuttles routes are very outdated. They should let the Transit App to take control of the live tracker since they do a excellent job in every aspect. Overall this Ride Systems app is beyond horrible.

The app works entirely off the schedule, not where the shuttle actually is. It just said the shuttle departed my stop when it’s across the city on the map (and very much not at this stop). This app provides no real benefit over just having a link to the schedule.

Don’t waste your time unless you need to know where the stops are. It won’t tell you when the shuttles are arriving. If it shows a time, it’s not correct. The app worked two years ago but not anymore.

It’s the only app if seen where the busses can go through buildings and then transport from one side of the city to the other instantly! Why not use some decent tracking technology like put an Apple tag on each bus. I think it costs $10 or so 🤣🤣

Update- working again in June 2023. Happy to have it back and operational After roughly 3 years of working pretty well the app no longer works for myself or anyone else using it at George Mason University. The app will open but then stays at the loading screen, and never actually loads…. hopefully the developer will see this and fix it or the University will drop it for something that actually works

App kept asking me for a password. But never had me set one up initially. Unusable

It’s pretty simple, I just wish there was a schedule for everything for the new people that want to try it out

I simply love the shuttle bus service it’s more comfortable and not overcrowded and it’s safer Then the metro buses where it’s overcrowded and uncomfortable

The app is never right correct about Bus location.

Nice layout, clean, easy to understand. It'd be nice if it didn't crash every time I tried to search a bus route tho.

I watch the shuttle service really grow and expand over the past several years. It’s now really convenient free and they’ll stop if you wave them down. It really makes it easy to get around South Padre Island.

The app is so bad that it’s keep on loading and loading and loading… and it doesn’t load anything

It doesn’t show where you are currently located or even where your favorite stop is located. The map shows dots for stops 1-30 but doesn’t label them so it’s worthless. After reviewing some of the comments, I figured out you can find your location by clicking the arrow at the top left, but this should be the default. There are lots of comments, but the last update of this app was 3 years ago, obviously they don’t care to improve it. I’m deleting it.

It’s mind-boggling to me that this company gets business. Whose uncle at these universities knows the moron owner of this company? Some routes the maps are backwards. An incredibly frustrating and worthless app.

Incredibly unreliable

The App is extremely difficult to use. This app is used by numerous universities to provide shuttle services which seems unfortunate. The app presents you with the map and list of routes names cryptically and expects you to figure out which one to take. If you look at past reviews, similar feedback was provided 3 years back and I don’t see any UX improvements suggesting that this app is neglected.

So it might just be me, and I would totally be fine with that. I could have just accidently missed the bus as I sat for 90 minutes on a 45 minute route in front of the bus stop staring at every single car drive by and watching other people wait for the bus and then leave after the app said they had arrived at the current bus stop two or three times. In short please don’t lie and say that a bus or shuttle is coming in a certain amount of time or every 45 minutes. After trying to use the shuttle 4 or five times, getting there 5 to 10 minutes early each time or waiting an hour and a half its just not cool to advertise that you’re gonna do a shuttle then make hundreds of people throughout the day wait for a bus that is never going to come. And yes I have talked to several people at the bus stops and all of them have had the same thing happen. If a bus is not functioning or there are no drivers please let us know on the app, that would be so nice. I don’t care if you do a shuttle or not. But please don’t lie saying the bus is coming when it literally is NOT coming. Just double check, then cancel the route or say there is no shuttle today. If you were to do that a lot of people would be much happier than figuring out for themselves an hour later that there is no shuttle coming.

I don't if it's the Wi-Fi, which is find from where I'm at, the app keeps blocking me out. So I have no idea what can be fixed it

Extremely wrong timing ! Worst that delay of atleast 1hour for the given arrival time !!!

The app doesn’t update you on where the trolley is at. It just gives you times the trolley should arrive at a location. Sometimes it’s traffic and it’s delayed. Some of the drivers are very friendly and give you history and info on locations at each stop or as you pass a places on the route.

This app is garbage. It does not work

The app does not display any times and it only shows one trolley. I do not know when to get on the trolley.

Went to Tarpon Springs to wait for trolly to Clearwater. Twice the trolly drive passed. My granddaughter and I waited for over an hour. We were at the marked pick up stop.

Great to ride ! Super cheap for unlimited rides for a full day . Only downfall is the app is hard to figure out . You can’t really find out where the trolley is . Only reason I gave it 3 stars ! Otherwise all the drivers have been very friendly and sweet & helpful & it’s a cheap ride to get all over in st Pete and Clearwater

This app is horrible, slow, and makes me miss the bus every single morning. The times are not truthful at ALL. They say one time and you look away for one second and you’ve missed the bus.. way BEFORE the time it said. Bad enough only one bus runs an hour. I truly hate this app.

If I could rate this no stars about the Jolly Trolley on coastal route near Clearwater I would! They didn’t advertise cash only exact change, and then wouldn’t wait on us. An hour and a half later the next Trolley sped PAST the stop when we were waving to them and never stopped! I have sent two complaints into them directly and heard absolutely NOTHING!

No update in two years. App just continues to load and doesn’t work. In the past it was kind of useful, but now just takes up space on your device. Too bad.

I have a PhD in computer science and I still do not get how to use this app.
